New-One Way Extended Area Service (EAS) and
Toll Free Calling for Customers in the 209-293 Prefix Area.
On July 22, 1997, the Volcano Telephone Company filed Advice
Letter No. 222 with the California Public Utilities commission
(CPUC) to establish extended area service. (EAS)
The EAS increment allows customers with a 209-293 prefix to call
TOLL FREE from the West Point Exchange to Pacific Bell's Jackson
Exchange. Jackson prefixes 209-223 and 209-257 are now considered
part of your local calling area.

agencies, organizations, and entities can be reached by dialing
the telephone number listed below without incurring a toll charge
from the West Point Exchange to Pacific Bell's San Andreas Exchange
